Terms & 




Prices include individual accommodation.  Supplied is comfortable bedding, food, toys, brushing and play.   Costs are calculated per calendar day. The first and last day are calculated as full days regardless of time of admission or departure.  No refund or credit will be offered for early collection.  Boarding Payment Due Prior To or on IN Date.

The Cost is $30 a day for Christmas/Christmas School Holidays. 

All other times are $27


Please ensure the Boarder is

up to date with their worming and flea treatment before coming to stay at The Cattery.  Flea prevention must be current. All Boarders are checked for fleas on arrival. The owner understands that  if The Boarder is found to have fleas during their boarding stay, it will be treated for fleas and will be charged for this treatment.


Brand and/or fresh food will be feed and is included in the Boarding price.  Providing your own food is also permitted.  If your cat is on a special diet or any dietary supplements, for health reasons, please advise at time of Booking.  Please provide enough for the Boarding period in individual portions. 


TheCattery reserves the right to refuse boarding without being required to provide an explanation. 

Boarders must be desexed.  Kittens must be at least 20 weeks of age which ensures maximum disease protection. 


All our Boarders are monitored however it is incumbent upon the owner to advise of any behavioural or health conditions/concerns; a history from your vet may be required to ensure that we understand your cats’ situation to provide the best possible care.  


A current F3 or F4 Vaccination is required.  The Cattery requires all Boarder Vaccinations to be up-to-date.  When the Boarder arrives you will be asked to show a Veterinarian written proof of vaccination. A copy will be retained.  The Boarder will not be permitted to board if they are not up to date with their vaccinations.  Vaccination will provide effective protection in the majority of animals but there is no 100% guarantee. All possible hygiene, health and safety procedures are carried out at The Cattery.  As a result any costs of treating any case of Cat Flu of the Boarder will not be absorbed by The Cattery.


In the event the Boarder requires veterinary attention and you are not contactable, the Boarder will be taken to the closest veterinary surgery. The Owner agrees to pay all veterinary expenses and other costs incurred by the TheCattery@YassRiver for treatment of the Boarder.  

TheCattery@YassRiver makes no representations that it is qualified to prescribe or administer medication to animals and will only do so if it is directed by the Owner.  Medications must be supplied or recommended by your vet, please ensure they are clearly labelled and sufficient for the Boarders stay. 

BOOKING & PAYMENTS (New Customers non Christmas)

Bookings will not be confirmed without completion of the Booking Form and a 20% deposit.  If your deposit its not received it will be assumed you no longer require boarding.

If cancellation is made seven (7) days or more prior to your IN date a deposit refund, less a $30 administration fee, will be given.

If cancellation is made with a notice period of less than seven (7) days but more than two (2) days, 50% of your deposit will be refunded, less a $30 administration fee.  If cancellation is made less than 48 hours of your IN date no refund or credit will be given. 

The remaining 80% for Boarding must be paid on your IN date. 

The Owner/s releases The Cattery and its employees or agents from all liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal in the care TheCattery@YassRiver including injury, death or loss while under the supervision of heCattery@YassRiver, its staff or subcontractors.  The owners booking at The Cattery represents that he/she is the sole owner of the Boarder free and clear of liens and encumbrances.   By Boarding my Cat means I  have read, understood  and agree to the Boarder Information and Terms and Conditions for my Cat.    

I declare answers provided on the Booking Form are accurate. Behavioural and/or health issues have been listed.
